I Wish Tonight...

While not quite the glass slippers I imagined, my running shoes will, this April, provide me with a great opportunity to help serious & terminally ill children get their wishes granted, thanks to the London Marathon & Starlight charity.

Starlight grants wishes for children like Hannah (right), who suffers from leukemia. As a Holby City fan, Starlight granted her wish to meet the stars of the show, spend a day on set, and experiment with all the goofy medical props.

Other children have enjoyed swimming with dolphins, visiting Lapland, or getting a computer - all things that help bring joy & hope into the lives of each individual child.

Yes, a magic little wand & pink tutu is not the only guise of wish-granters - fashionable though it may be - nor is fairy dust the only method.

You can bring out your inner-fairy-godmother, too, by sponsoring me! (Please note, you have to scroll down to select my name).

Many thanks to you, in advance...
